Summer Beauty Breakdown

Oh Vy, just hanging out on the dock for the cover of the latest issue, inspiring us to be the perfect balance of effortless and beautiful this summer. The makeup look was a careful design that included stronger earth tones and sun soaked bronzes. Thanks to Makeup Artist Megan Mateo we all now have a gorgeous example of a summer beauty so you can look and feel like a cover model too! Here’s a list of the JMTM products Megan used and how she used them to create the look along with a few bonus shots from the shoot.

Eye Prep: Evershadow Creme in Bare all over the lid.

Eyes: Evershadow Powers in Bare as base, Goldie in the center of the lid, Hot Cocoa and Mink mixed in the inner and outer third of the lid, Champagne as the highlight. Hot Cocoa and Champagne smudged into bottom lid.

Eye liner: Gel Eyeliner in Quest on top lid smudged with Evershadow Power in Mink. Bottom lined lined with darker brunette shade of theJMTM Brow Powder Duo.

Brows: JMTM Brow Powder Duo in Brunette.

Cheeks: JMTM Bronzer/Blush Duo. Bronzer across the forehead, down bridge of nose, and chin. Blush on apples of cheeks. Bronzer and blush mixed and applied to back of cheek following the cheekbone. Evershadow Creme in Dazzle used as highlight.

Lips: JMTM Molten Lip Colors in Oro, Pinky Peach and Tang mixed with clear lip gloss in Shine. For the punched-up lip, Megan mixed Molten Lip Color in Retro and lip balm to create a soft, not too glossy lip.
