Affirm Your Life | 11 Affirmations {Part 1}

462 1

Affirmations are a lifestyle for me.

It wasn’t until my friend, Sam, said this in a comment after we had been texting affirmations to each other that I realized that she was spot on.

It was a lifestyle.

I make a choice in my life to not feed the negativity but instead feed my positivity with affirmations. When the devil on my shoulder says, “There’s no way you’re going to do everything you dream of, you don’t have enough resources to get it all done,” I shut it down with an affirmation vs. talking to it directly.

So, in that moment, I internally say, “Everything I need is available to me in the moment need it. Not before and not after but in that perfect moment.” It stirs up the feel-goods in my soul and taps into my inner God-given strength.

Sometimes I am overwhelmed with all of the hats I wear and I can start to lose sight of my path – it seems to be ever-changing and evolving, at the speed of light at times – but I can ground myself by saying, “Divine order guides my steps to my purpose.” The only thing I could maybe add to that is an Amen. I mean seriously, it says everything I need it to say.

My word for 2016 was “balance, then I added “focus.”

The only way I was going to be able to hold true to keeping my center and balance with my life, including personal and professional, was to be laser-focused in my actions. Affirmations help me get my head back in the game and back on the good track by dealing with my false/shadow/egoic self by feeding my TRUE self. Ya know, the little voice that says, “You’re right, I am special,” before the other voice tries to beat the dream out of you.

Make no mistake, that other voice is only there to destroy your dreams by distracting you with negative self-talk. When I went looking for my purpose, it showed up in the form of a career change. In a nutshell, going from Makeup Artist to Life Coach.

As you can imagine, the road has been filled with challenges and new things to learn, as it should since I’m doing new work. But in the spirit of getting out of my own way to allow Divine Order to really take over my steps and guide me, I had to do my part to make this process more fluid – I dance with life’s flow when I don’t drag my feet. Speaking life and love into yourself and others will result in a major positive shift.

You will become a magnet for good.

Everyone around you will start to feel your energy change even if you only do this internally. Someone drives you crazy? Throw an affirmation at it, “I am tapping into endless amounts of patience for others right now.” Don’t let them stir negative thoughts that end up bringing you negative stuff. Remember The Law of Attraction is always at work.

Here are a few to get you started. Say them internally and out loud, especially if your chatter won’t quit, in conversation to stay positive, with your kids so they know how good they are too. Post them around to remind yourself and please create your own to make them personal.

Love you more,

Jules

I have recently taken Jules Lovelight course and it has changed my way of thinking and have learned so many helpful tools to get through everyday life. Its a 6 week course that teaches you the power of affirmations, identifying your fears, redefining selfish to self preservation, discovering your joys, organizing your inward thoughts and outward actions and hearing the whisper of your “Why”. I’ve learned how to mediate, ( the breathing technique is so calming yet energetic ), I’ve learned to make time for myself without feeling guilty, and sometimes that’s hard for women because we are nurturers, mothers, wives, sometimes we forget that we are still women, that we are still “us” that need to be taken care of as well. I’ve learned to face my fears, not of the boogeyman, but genuine fears like lack of funds, my health, even fear of loneliness.
Jules gives great advice and provides examples and teaches how to cope with different situations. I’m so glad, but most importantly, I’m grateful that she provided this course. We need to learn how to not only empower each other, but to empower OURSELVES. Its amazing what 6 weeks can do to your life. I encourage women of all ages to take this course and learn what it is to truly be at peace with ones self. She even teaches you about your “false” self…yeah we have one of those. The one that says your not good enough, that you can’t do what you want to do, the one who holds you down.
This is a life changing course.
Take advantage and learn to love your true self. You will not be disappointed.
I share my light and love with you!
