5 years ago today I was cleaning out my closet on my day off when Josh walked in and said “Do you want to do Eve’s makeup today?” — WAIT. What the what?! I gave a prompt “hell yes” of course and I’m so happy I did.

Eve, a rapper who is also a host on CBS’ The Talk, was not only super down to earth and as cool as you’d hope but she also invited Josh and I to her show. We even walked in with her backstage. No biggie. I was 4 months pregnant with Julian, so it was his 1st official concert. It was a surreal moment that happened in a flash!

Fun fact: Savannah, Georgia’s superstar Flau’jae, who went very far on this season of America’s Got Talent, opened the show. By the way, she was 9 years old at the time(!).

I share this little throwback story to encourage you be brave and say HELL YES to the opportunities that will fill up your heart and soul.
